Hi! I am 68 years old, I live in Lexington, SC, I come from a long line of good cooks, I cook DAILY at home, can vegetables each Summer, my Dad was a country, Pentecostal Preacher, we had plenty of good country cooking, fresh vegetables, freshly butchered meats growing up! I have ordered many cook books, (I’m kinda fanatical) I enjoy seeing new recipes and trying “new ways.” I have more often than not been disappointed and wasted a lot of money!
I just wanted to take the time to tell you, THIS is a cookbook! There is nothing whatsoever that appears to be added to “fill pages” it is all useful and informative. I was so thankful to finally get a cookbook that I can USE, with good country food and advice!!
I particularly loved the inclusion of Bible verses! Any way to spread the hope of Jesus, is commendable! Thank you for putting in the time to make a REAL cookbook, there are many out from social media cooks, and there are some good recipes in some. This was enjoyable from start to finish with great pics and good paper!! lol

Hello Tammy, I received your Master Cookbook today and all I can say is WOW, WOW, I am literally blown away by it because it is beautifully and very well made, worth every penny. I love the pictures in it of you and your family, your history, the history of your Valley and you telling your story. I love the way each recipe is written with your footnotes and explanations and all the other information in your cookbook, also the binding and each page itself, the book cover, all is high quality. This cookbook is at treasure for sure and will make a wonderful gift for anyone, it was really very well packaged and I am very happy with it, I will cherish it. Just had to let you know the cookbook is amazing. I can’t believe all the recipes that are in it. Anyone wanting to learn how to cook definitely needs this book. I can hardly put it down. Thanks so much for this “gift”, all the hard work that was put into it!! It’s definitely worth every penny!

Tammy, I got your cookbook and I've never seen a cookbook as nice as yours. I've never cooked collards or pintos without meat. Your beans and collards are the best I've ever tasted. I just wanted to tell you that I gave the replaced cookbook to my mother, and she went on and on about it. She talked about the quality and the heaviness of the paper and the amount of recipes and the pictures and the hard cover and even the bookmark in case the book accidentally closed and you lost your space. She just went on and on and said it was the best cookbook she had seen in her life and she has always collected them. Just wanted you to know how great she said it was!
